Body of Juba League man recovered

Police recovered the body of a Juba League activist from West Gonipur village under Laxmipur Sadar upazila yesterday morning. Police sources said the deceased was Sahadat Hossain, 24, member of convening committee of Chhyani union unit of the organisation under Begumganj upazila in Noakhali. He was a resident of Ramespur village of the same upazila. Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered the body from a ditch of the area and sent it to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. The body bore several marks of injury, officer-in-charge of Chandraganj police station Arjun said.Sahadat might have been killed by criminals, the OC said.
