Contribution of AL leader Abdur Razzak recalled

The 7th death anniversary of one of the organisers of Liberation War, a close associate of Bangabandhu and veteran Awami League leader Abdur Razzak was observed yesterday with due respect.

Marking the day, Awami League and its associate and like-minded organisations paid homage to Razzak by placing wreaths at his grave at Banani graveyard in the city yesterday.

AL leaders Akhtaruzzaman, Delwar Hossain, Marufa Akhter Poppy, Advocate Riazul Kabir Kawser, Awami Juba League general secretary Md Hurunur Rashid, vice-presidents Md Mujibur Rahman Chowdhury and Md Ataur Rahman were present on the occasion.Besides, family members of Razzak, Abdur Razzak Smriti Parishad, Shariatpur Foundation and different political, social and cultural organisations also placed wreaths at the grave of the veteran AL leader. After placing wreaths, the AL leaders observed one-minute silence in memory of Razzak and offered munaja and doa seeking eternal peace of the departed soul.
