Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid yesterday urged the people of the country to cast their votes in favour of Awami League (AL) in the upcoming general election to be held on December 30.
“People should re-elect Awami League-led government to continue development process in the country,” he told an election rally at Golapganj upazila of the district.
Nahid said the incumbent government is working to build a non-communal and prosperous Bangladesh in line with the spirit of War of Liberation.
Terming the next general election as very crucial, the minister called upon the people to cast their votes for Boat’ in the upcoming general election to advance the country towards economic emancipation.
He said the country has advanced remarkably in the education sector as the government has implemented various time-befitting programmes in the past 10 years.
Nahid said despite a number of challenges, Bangladesh has some remarkable and praiseworthy achievements in the education sector.
