Dristi Chokkhu Hospital with the cooperation of Vision Aid Foundation organised a daylong free eye care and cataract detection camp on the hospital premises in city’s Mohammadpur marking Victory Day yesterday. Many eye related patients took treatment including 26 patients among them underwent cataract surgery free of cost.
The camp starts at 10am and ends at 4pm with examining 300 children, female and male from low income communities of Mohammadpur, Dhanmondi and Keraniganj.
At this programme eminent social worker Rtn. Shamsunnahar was the chief guest and Taufique Mohiuddin, Chairman , Vision Aid Foundation, Rtn. Saidul Haque Sadi, Secretary, Rotary Club of Dhanmondi Central, Rtn Dr Siddiqur Rahman, Adviser of Vision Aid Foundation, Rtn Saida Begum were present as special guests.
