Increase productivity to be a middle income nation : Speakers

RANGPUR: Every citizen should work with patriotic zeal for enhancing productivity in the industrial, agriculture, service and other sectors for realising the Vision 2021 to become a middle income nation, reports BSS. Discussants expressed the opinion while participating in a post-rally discussion organised here yesterday in observance of the National Productivity Day- 2015 with the theme of Increased Productivity is needed in implementing Vision-2021.
The district administration with assistance of Rangpur Chamber of Commerce Industry (RCCI) and support of the National Productivity Organization under the Ministry of Industries organised the rally followed by discussion to observe the day.
Led by Deputy Commissioner Md Rahat Anwar, hundreds of government and non- government officials, chamber leaders, industrialists, private sector entrepreneurs and elites participated in the rally. Later, the Deputy Commissioner presided over the discussion arranged in his conference room and elaborated the big success achieved by the present government in every sector in the process of realising the Vision 2021. The speakers stressed creating public awareness to raise productivity in every sector for further strengthening the national economy and accelerate pace of development to timely complete implementation of the Vision 2021.
