Workshop on concept art held

A day- long workshop on concept art and exhibition was held at American Corner, Rajshahi yesterday. The workshop was organised by AKC with the help of Dhaka Comics and Akantis in memory of a late concept artist Asif Kabir Chowdhuri, student of sculpture group in Fine Arts Department in Rajshahi University who died on September 25,  2013. Sabyasachi Mistry, one of the first and famous concept artists of Bangladesh, cartoonist Mehedi Hoque one of the founders of Dhaka Comics, cartoonist and also professor of Institute of Education and Research of Rajshahi University Nasreen Sultana Mitu spoke at the workshop. The programme was inaugurated by Nasreen Sultana Mitu. Kanak Kumar Pathak, assistant professor in sculpture department in the faculty of Fine Arts of Rajshahi University was present as special guest.
