Aamra networks limited and Polycom Inc. jointly held an event on Saturday to showcase the possibilities of human collaboration through video conferencing solutions.

The event, held at a hotel in the capital’s Gulshan area, was aimed as a demonstrating Polycom’s latest breakthroughs in the field of video conferencing for businesses and corporate clients, says a company press release.

Among those present at the event were Minhaj Zia, Vice President for Polycom in India, SAARC & SEA, Anirban Acharya, Regional Sales Manager, Polycom India and Syed Farhad Ahmed, Managing Director of aamra, Syed Faruque Ahmed, Chairman of the company and its Chief Operating Officer Sharful Alam.

Delivering the keynote speech Minhaj Zia said, “Technologies like video conferencing support the transformation (of workspace to save real estate) and allow organizations to improve their business and communication, at all levels. Video collaboration is going to be one of the biggest catalysts in next generation team collaboration.”

Syed Farhad Ahmed said, “We will continue to empower our clients with our customized solutions. Effective and efficient communication and mobility will drive tomorrow’s businesses, and aamra is keen on leading this momentum into the future.”
