Bus staff held with heroin

Kotwali  police arrested bus supervisor Nurul Islam, 45, an inhabitant of Mirja pur village in Kolaroa upazila of Satkhira district, on Thursday night on charge of smuggling heroin.
Kotwali police said acting on a tip-off, they raided a Dhaka-bound  Satkhira express passenger bus at about 11pm, seized 500 grams of heroin packed in a polythene bag and arrested Nurul Islam. The value of the seized heroin has been estimated at Tk 50 lakh, the police said.
