Prof Khan Sarwar Murshid

The 6th death anniversary of Prof Khan Sarwar Murshid, an educationalist and a Liberation War organiser, will be observed tomorrow (Saturday), says a press release. He was a former teacher of English Department in Dhaka University, editor of post-modern journal named ‘New values’. Prof Murshid also served as the Bangladesh high commissioner to Poland, Hungary and the former Vice-chancellor of Rajshahi University. He was also the founder Chairman of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB). On the occasion, wreaths will be placed at his grave at Mirpur Intellectuals' Graveyard in the capital at 10:30am on Saturday.
