Youth hacked to death

CHITTAGONG: A young man was allegedly hacked to death by his rival group over previous enmity in south Pouichari area under Banskhali upazila of the district, reports BSS. The deceased was Mohammad Titu, 28, son of Molovi Jafar hailed from Toitung area of south Pouichari under Banskhali upazila of the district. Locals and police said the deceased forcibly marriage the wife of a robber gang leader few months ago. Following the incident, the dacoit's leader along with his associates picked up Titu from his house on Thursday night. Then, they beat and hacked him indiscriminately, leaving him injured critically. Locals spotted injured Titu and sent him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where the attending doctor declared him dead.
