People suffer for blockade by Tabligh Jamaat faction

The violent clashes between the two factions of Tabligh Jamaat yesterday have made the common people to suffer. Traffic movement on airport road was disrupted for about four hours in the morning, created a gridlock in one of the most important roads of the capital.
Raisa Raad Khan, a student of North South University had exam in the morning but she was 15 minutes late in attending that. Upon getting out of her home in Mirpur, she found the road blocked as well as full of traffic. I had to change my regular route and tried finding my ways through the nooks and crannies of Gulshan and Badda to reach to my university in Bashindhara, said Raisa. Badaruddin Nafa, an employee of a call center needed three hours to reach to his office in Uttara from his home in Elephant Road. After crossing Banani, I found a gridlock ahead. I spent hours stuck in the traffic. The traffic gridlock persisted from 9:15am to 1pm. Later it went back to normalcy after the law enforcers intervened.
