24 submit nomination papers in Bhola

A total of 24 candidates have submitted nomination papers to fight the next polls from different constituencies in Bhola.
In all, 24 candidates filed nomination papers from four constituencies in Bhola district on the last day of submitting nomination for the upcoming national polls slated for December 30.
In Bhola-1, Tofail Ahamed (AL), Golam Nobi Alamgir (BNP), barrister Andalib Rahman Partho (BJP), Reba Rahman (BJP), Haider Ali Lenin (BNP), Mowlana Eyasin Nobi Puri (Islami Shantontro Andolon) and Kefayet Ullah Nojib (JP) submitted their nomination papers.
In Bhola-2, Ali Azam Mukul (AL), Hafiz Ibrahim, barrister Maruf Ibrahim, Rafiqul Islam (BNP), Humayun Kabir (independent) and Obaidur Rahman (Islami Shashontontro Andolon) filed their nomination papers.
In Bhola-3, Nurun Nobi Shaon (AL), Maj. (retd) Hafiz uddin Ahamed, advocate Kamal Hossain (BNP), Nur Nobi sumon (JP) and Mowlana Mosleh Uddin (Islami Shashontontro Andolon) filed nomination papers
In Bhola-4, Abdullah Al Islam (AL), Nazim Uddin Alom and Nurul Islam Noyon (BNP), MA Mannan (JP) and Mowlana Mohib Ullah (Islami Shashontontro Andolon) filed nomination paper.
There was an intra-party clash among the supporters of Nazim Uddin Alom and Nurul Islam Noyon in the Bhola- 4 constituency. The skirmish reportedly took place in Dawari Bazzar of Lalmohon on November 29.
AL candidate Tofail Ahmed said that a free fair and impartial election will be held under Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at any cost.
