Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested two suspected drug traders along with 1.48 lakh yaba tablets from Baklia thana area yesterday morning.
The arrestees are Kamal Hawlader, 41, son of Najar Ali, hailing from Barishal district and Md Anis, 40, son of Yakub Ali, hailing from Shariatpur district.
Md Mashkur Rahman, assistant superintendent of Police of RAB-7, said that on secret information, a team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) conducted drive in the area in the morning and seized a gas-cylinder-laden pickup van.
Later, the team recovered the yaba tablets which was concealed in a gas cylinder in a special technique.
