Amid dry weather persisting for long, it may continue to remain tinder dry with remote chance of rain. The rain may allow the winter setting in slowly from the first half of December, Met Office sources said.
In its forecast for today, the met office said, weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky over the country. Light to moderate fog may prevail at places during the late night till morning, it added.
The country’s highest temperature 32.4 Degrees Celsius was recorded in Jashore against the lowest 11.2C at Sri Mangal followed as usual 11.5C in Tetulia.
In Dhaka the maximum temperature was 31C falling slightly from yesterday’s 31.5C. The minimum temperature in the city was 18.6C that too fell from yesterday’s 19.2C.
Despite a slow start for the sun to rise over the city at dawn to break through the shroud of smog, it later became sunny and bright under an azure sky.
