The members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested seven people including a Ronhingya refugee while they were entering Bangladesh illegally through Toluigachha border on Tuesday morning.
Six of the detainees hailed from Satkhira and Khulna districts while the other one was a Rohingya, said Mohidul Islam, officer-in-charge of Satkhira Police Station.
A team of BGB held seven people near Main Piller no. 13 of Toluigachha Mathpara area during a drive around 6 am. Later, BGB handed them over to Satkhira police, said the OC. Perorations have been taken to send the Rohingya man to a refugee camp in Cox’s Bazar, the OC added.
