Youth’s body found beside National Park

Police recovered the body of an unidentified youth beside Dhaka –Mymensing highway at Rajendrapur area of Gazipur city, near Bhawal National park yesterday noon.

Police also recovered a helmet of motorcycle near the body. The identity of the body could not be known immediately.

Officer in charge of Sadar police station under Gazipur Metropolitan police Samir Chandra Sutrodhor said, locals found the body lying beside the highway and informed nearby police station.

Later police rushed to the spot and recovered the headless body from the spot and also recovered the head slightly away from the body along with a helmet of a motorcycle.

The body was later sent to Gazipur Shahid Tazuddin Ahmad Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. Police suspected that someone robbed his motorcycle after killing him.
