4-day book fair at JU begins today

A four-day long book fair will begin on Jahangirnagar University (JU) campus today. ‘Aloghar Prakashana’, a noted publisher will organise the fair on the Zahir Raihan auditorium premises on the campus, Director of Aloghar Prakashana Hasnat Mobarak said yesterday. ‘We have been organising book fairs at different educational institutes all over the country. As part our ongoing activity, we have organised a fair on the Jahangirnagar University campus”, he said. Professor Khalid Hossain of Jahangirnagar University Bangla department will inaugurate the fair in the morning as the chief guest, he added. The book fair will continue till November 15. The fair can easily become the hub of booklovers who can come together and share their ideas, said the organizer.
