First division basketball begins today

Sports Reporter, Dhaka

Unimed and Unihealth First Division Basketball League organized by Bangladesh Basketball Federation will commence today at 4pm at Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium in the capital.

Seven teams are taking part in the league. The teams are: Baksibazar Club, Old DOHS, The Shawons, Cantonians, Josephities, Wraiths and Mohammedpur Basketball Club.

Josephites, Old DOHS and Baksibazar are the three teams likely to battle for the title. The champions will be promoted to Premier league next season.
