ACC conducts drive in RAJUK

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) yesterday conducted a drive at Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK) following an allegation of twice allotments of a plot in Purbachal area. On October 28 in 2003, RAJUK allotted a plot to one Jubly Haque. But the same plot was allotted again to AFM Saiful Islam on August 5 in 2010. After getting an allegation through the commission’s hotline-106, the ACC conducted the drive led by assistant director Nazmul Hasan at the RAJUK to unearth the facts. ACC Director General Muhammad Munir Chowdhury said that it was the governance failure of RAJUK authority. It was a big anomaly and ACC will look after the matter, said the ACC DG.
