Six receive burn injuries

Six people, including woman and child, sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder blast at Kafrul in the capital early Sunday. The victims were identified as Amena Begum,30, her husband Sajb Ahmed, 35, their one and half years old son Arman, brother Zahid, 15, her father Delowar,60 and mother Saleha,50. All of them have been admitted to the Burn and Plastic Surgery Unit of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). Sub Inspector Abu Hasan of Kafrul police station said Shah Alam,a neighbour of the family was also injured when he came to rescue them. Later Ruhul Amin, another neighbour, brought all the victims to the DMCH.
