JCD leader killed in Bhola

Charfassion upazila unit president of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), a front organisation of BNP, was allegedly stabbed to death by criminals early Saturday. The deceased was Abdur Razzak, 35.
Monirul Islam, father of the victim, said on the night of Eid day, the Razzak took his meal and left the house.
According to his younger brother, he went out to the Hajariganj flood protection embankment area to meet his party activists. On the way back home, a group of criminals stabbed him. Relatives of the victim alleged that the cadres of the ruling party were involved in the incident. Razzak was rushed to Charfassion upazila health complex. But doctors refereed him to the Bhola Sadar Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries next morning.
