Factory catches fire in capital

A fire broke out in a packaging factory at Indira Road in the capital yesterday afternoon, reports BSS. The fire took place in a packaging factory at 42, Indira Road under Sher-e- Banglanagar Police Station around 12.34 pm, said an official of Fire Service and Civil Defence.  “Six firefighting engines rushed to the place of occurrence and doused the flame around 14.45 pm,” he said, adding that no casualty, however, was reported in the fire.
