Six people have been detained for their alleged involvement in the reported question paper leak of 'Gha' unit admission test under Social Sciences faculty of Dhaka University, reports UNB. Law enforcers arrested them from Doyel Chattar area of the university with the cooperation of a DU proctorial team on Saturday night, said campus sources.
The detainees are Md Zahidul Islam, Insan Ali Roki, Mostakim Hossain, Sadman Salid, Md Abu Taleb and Tanvir Ahmed. DU chief security officer SM Kamrul Ahsan filed a case with Shahbag Police Station under the Digital Security Act over the matter. DU Proctor Prof AKM Golam Rabbani told the news agency that they have urged law enforcers to take proper action against the detainees and find out the mastermind of the crime.
Meanwhile, Dhaka University (DU) has set up a three-member committee to investigate the alleged leak of questions of its Gha unit admission test under the social science faculty on Friday, DU vice chancellor Professor Akhtaruzaman informed yesterday.
