Nazmul takes over as ACC president post Nov 18

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan Papon is set to become the president of Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on November 18. The Annual General Meeting of the ACC will be on that day in Lahore, Pakistan after which Papon will formally take the post, replacing Pakistan’s Ehsan Mani.

As per the rotation policy of the ACC presidency, it is the BCB’s turn to appoint the next president of the regional body. So, ACC has sought name of nominee from BCB.

The Board has unanimously approved name of its own president Nazmul Hassan Papon as the BCB’s nominee for the ACC presidency from 2018-2020.
