Minor boy killed for ransom

Gazipur: A minor boy has been killed after being kidnapped for ransom allegedly by a tenant of their house at Baniarchala of Sadar upazila, reprots UNB. Police recovered the body of Abdullah Al Noman, 6, son of Lokman Hossain, from behind a factory of the city on Thursday noon. Sub-inspector of Tongi East Police Station Md Sohrab Hossain said Lokman's tenant Bablu Hossain kidnapped the boy on Wednesday afternoon and demanded money from his family for his release. Police on Thursday morning arrested Bablu when he confessed to kidnapping the boy, saying he had strangulated the boy to death and dumped the body behind the factory.
