BSS

ISHWARDI: Land Minister Shamshur Rahman Sherif, MP, yesterday urged people to vote for ‘Boat’, the election symbol of Awami League, in the next Jatiya Sangsad (JS) election to continue ongoing pace of development, reports BSS. “People’s lifestyle and livelihood have been changed during the regime of the AL government . . . So all should cast their vote in favour of ‘Boat’ to let the development trend continue,” he said while inaugurating the 4th National Development Fair-2018 on Pabna Edward College campus here. Sherif urged all to work unitedly to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to build a developed country.

Referring to ten special initiatives of PM Sheikh Hasina, the land minister said, “The ten initiatives have made significant contribution to the country’s development.” He hoped that Bangladesh would become a developed country under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Earlier, the minister attended a rally brought out from Mukta Manch on the occasion. The rally ended on college campus after parading different thoroughfares of the district town.
