Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) unit of Jahangirnagar University (JU) has recommended suspension of 10 activists for their alleged involvement in a clash that took place on the campus between two groups of BCL activists of Mir Mosharraf Hossain hall and Al-Beruni hall on Tuesday midnight, leaving 30 injured.
A press released signed by JU BCL President Jewel Rana and General Secretary S M Sufian Chanchal confirmed the matter yesterday.
They recommended suspension of one month for the BCL activists Debashish Mitra, Rabiul Islam, Anik Shaha, Junayed, Amirul Islam Sujan and Abu Sayed of Mir Mosharraf Hossain Hall BCL unit and Ashik Sheikh, Imran Ahmed, Sohel Rana, and Sujon Mahmud of Al Beruni hall unit for violating rules and regulations of the organisation.
