The three-day 4th ‘National Development Fair’ will begin at the field of International Trade Fair in the capital today aiming to show the government’s multiple development initiatives and successes, reports UNB.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the fair through videoconferencing from her official residence Ganobhaban, said Deputy Commissioner Abu Saleh Mohammad Ferdous Khan while talking to reporters at the venue in city’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area.
Alongside the capital, separate fairs will be held in all district and upazila headquarters throughout the country till October 6.
The fair will remain open from 10 am till 9 pm every day.
A colourful rally will be brought out from the venue around 8:45 am.
The fair is being orgasined aiming to showcase the development activities taken by the present government, he said.
Development successes achieved in different sectors under the dynamic and farsighted leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be exhibited in the countrywide fair.
