20th NCL gets underway today

Walton 20th National Cricket League (NCL) for the 2018-19 season will get underway at four different venues of the four host cities across the country today.

The NCL, the country’s first class cricket league will be staged on home and away basis for the first time.

Holders Khulna Division will take on promoted Rajshahi Division at the Shaheed Kamruzzaman Stadium in Rajshahi and Rangpur Division will face off Barisal Division at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogura in Tier-1 outings.

On the other hand, Dhaka Division will compete against Chattogram at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah and Sylhet Division will fight against Dhaka Metro at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Tier-2 fixtures.
