BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir returned yesterday night after taking medical treatment abroad for nearly two months, reports UNB. “Mirza Fakhrul arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by a Singapore Airlines flight around 10:40pm,” BNP chairperson’s media wing member Sayrul Kabir Khan told UNB.Senior BNP leaders, including Abdullah Al Noman, Shamsuzzaman Dudu, Asaduzzaman Ripon, Ruhul Quddus Talukder Dulu, Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal and Imran Saleh Prince, received him at the airport. Sayrul said Fakhrul went to Singapore on Sunday from the USA to consult his doctors at National University Hospital, Singapore before returning home BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, now in London, asked Fakhrul to return home to look after the party as she is now outside the country, sources said.
