State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Md Mashiur Rahman Ranga yesterday said that the Digital Security Act is not formulated to gag journalist community or free thinkers, reports BSS. “The Digital Security Act will not gag journalist community rather it’s formulated to punish those who spread rumors, instigate violence or make anti-state conspiracy using digital technology,” he told a discussion at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU) auditorium in the capital.
