Farmer killed by robbers

A farmer was gunned down by armed robbers at Mannan Master’s residence in West Awliapur village of Patuakhali Sadar on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Shahjahan Howlader, 45, of West Awliapur vbillage in the  upazila.
According to police and villagers, 7 to 8 armed robbers entered the residence of Mannan Master by breaking the lock of the collapsible gate. As local people gathered at the house hearing the hue and cry of the inmates the robbers opened gunfire on the villagers killing farmer Shahjahan on the spot.
