Midland Bank gets new chair, vice chair

Nilufer Zafarullah has been elected as chairman of Midland Bank Limited while Master Abul Kashem was elected as vice chairman of the bank, the bank said in a press statement.

The board of directors of the bank elected the new chairman and vice chairman of the bank in its 76th meeting held in the capital recently.

Zafarullah was the vice chairman of bank since 2013. She is a member of the board of trustees of Independent University Bangladesh (IUB) and Chittagong Independent University.

Master Abul Kashem is a sponsor director of Midland Bank Limited. He has over 26 years of experience in the iron and steel industry.
