8 BNP lawyers get advance bails in sabotage case

The High Court (HC) yesterday granted advance bail to 8 BNP-affiliated lawyers, including Khandaker Mahbub Hossain, in a sabotage case, reports UNB. A bench with Justice Md Habibul Goni and Justice Mohammad Ali passed the order as they sought bail before the court. The police now cannot place them under arrest before submitting a report. The others lawyers are Advocate Abdur Rezak Khan, former minister Aminul Haque, former minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury, Sanaullah Miah, former minister Toimur Alam Khandakar, Advocate Akhteruzzaman, and Taherul Islam Touhid.
