Bangladesh confirmed a second round berth in the Asian Men’s Volleyball Championship when they became B-Group champions in Colombo yesterday.
Bangladesh defeated Mongolia by 3-1 sets in their third group match to push their collection to seven points.
Bangladesh won the first two sets 25-22, 25-23 in a row before Mongolia fought back in the third set winning it 25-23. Bangladesh led by a left-handed spiker Horisot regained their form in the fourth set before finishing the match with 25-19 in the fourth set.
