Ramp model held with yaba

Cox’s Bazar: Police arrested a female model with 200 pieces of contraband yaba pills from Cox’s Bazar Airport on Wednesday afternoon, reports UNB. The arrestee was identified as Shapna Akhter Kanta, 24, ramp show model star and short film producer and daughter of Mahmud Hasan of Nayapara in Narayanganj district. Inspector Abdul Malek of Department of Narcotic Control (DNC) in Cox’s Bazar, said being informed form the airport authority, police arrested private aircraft passenger Kanta from the airport along with the yaba pills. On interrogation, she confessed that she was carrying yaba pills with her bag.
