Chinese government-owned company China Railway International Group (CRIG) yesterday expressed interest in making investment in different sectors in Bangladesh, reports BSS.
CRIG made its intention clear when a four-member delegation led by its vice-president Wang Lijie called on Posts, Telecommu-nications and ICT Minister Mustafa Jabbar at latter’s ICT Bhaban in the capital.
The Chinese company expressed special interest in making investment in digitization of education sector in Bangladesh, also expressing keen interest in
providing technical support in building information technology enriched Bangladesh.
During the meeting, they discussed progress in implementing third phase of Info-Sarker, Establishing Digital Connectivity projects.
