Jamboree Math park opens for visitors

The newly constructed park at the Jamboree playground in the city was formally opened yesterday for the visitors. Housing and Public Works Minister Mosarraf Hossain inaugurated the park.

The Jamboree Math (field) earlier was used for large Scouts gatherings called Jamboree. The Public Works Department (PWD) in 2016 took the project to build a park at the filed for the recreation of the city people.

Public works department has implemented the park at 8.55 acres of land spending Tk18 crore. PWD has set hundreds of lamps in the park for offering a dazzling view to the visitors at night while around 10,000 trees of 65 species have being planted in the park surrounded by a huge boundary wall.
