Mother hacked to death in front of son in B�baria

Brahmanbaria: A 40-year-old housewife was hacked to death in front of his son by some criminals at Jagannathpur Amtoli village in Kosba upazila early yesterday, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Rizia Akhter, wife of Shah Alam of the village.
Quoting locals, police said the criminals dug into Shah Alam’s house early in the morning while Rizia along with her son Mashuq Miah, 10, were asleep.
Rizia’s husband and their elder son live in Sylhet as they work in a bakery there, according to local people.
The criminals tied up them with a rope and hacked Rizia in front of her son.
Hearing Mashuq’s screams neighbours rushed in and found Rizia dead.
On information, police recovered the body and sent it to sadar hospital morgur, said Mohammad Mohiuddin, officer-in-charge (investigation) of Kosba Police Station.
The motive behind the murder could not be known yet.
Meanwhile, Razia’s elder brother Abu Khayer filed a case.
