BENAPOLE: Members of Boarder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained 27 people, including women and children, while they were entering into Bangladesh territory through Benapole and Putkhali frontiers yesterday morning, reports BSS.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Benapole Port police station Zahirul Islam said local agents took them to India with assurance of providing them job to India.
As they did not get job there, they were returning home through Putkhali
and Benapole frontiers
and BGB members detained them.
