The silent terrorist..!
As I start seeing injustice happening, with banning of food items eaten by the minority community, and stifling of other freedoms, slowly but surely, I realize who the real terrorist is! The real terrorist isn't man who sent email, nor one who carried bombs, nor those who received training in Pakistan, Bangladesh or soon we'll be shouting China. The real bomber diverts attention from himself by pasting shadow figures and fooling us with convincing names in newspaper and TV channel whilst he walks free. His bombs are more lethal: Those killed and maimed a score or two, his wound and slaughter the minds of hundreds of thousands.   But he walks free, even taunting us to catch and lock him up. No new technology is used by him in the assembling of his lethal gizmos, no need to smuggle RDX from foreign shore, no bribe for custom official or asking police to turn blind eye, his raw materials are already there, ready to use. All he needs is appropriate occasion, and in a jiffy bomb is made, ignited and thrown into middle of the crowd, and death, doom and destruction follow soon enough.
 And then he walks away free. Two kinds of bombs; Words and Silence!
On public platform in front of hundreds his Words; sophisticated bombs are prepared. And from giant cauldron of his head with poison added he pulls out with glee such words of hate, intolerance and animosity and hurl them into midst of expectant rabble who with a roar run riot blasting his deadly missiles.
And he walks free.
And the other bomb: the Bomb of Silence.
 Instead of galvanizing police and court and putting the culprits behind bars, instead of saying that a banning is wrong, silence is used; nothing is done.
Two kinds of bombs; Hateful Words and Deathly Silence!
In the country where terrorism brought the Twin Towers down, you can't utter the word 'nigger' for fear of prison cell. But here, in the world's largest democracy where same laws exist, where constitution guarantees imprisonment, silence reigns when such vile linguistic, religious rhetoric is spewed.
And the terrorist walks free.
Ah! But you my friend have the power to catch the bomber, you with your voice and vote combined can move court and change government and see such spouters of hate and intolerance jailed, that they dare never disrupt the delicate, fragile harmony that binds our nation together.
But sadly with your silence you are the real
terrorists..!
