Lucky Akhand to receive Lifetime Achievement Award

Popular singer-composer-lyricist-music director Lucky Akhand, who has enthralled and mesmerised his adoring fans with his brilliant music, will be honoured today with a Lifetime Achievemnet Award by production house G-Series today at 3 pm at the auditorium of TCB Bhaban in the capital’s Kawran Bazar area.
The award will be given through a programme where the cover of 30 albums from G-Series and Agnibina will be unveiled. Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu is expected to be present, along with G-Series and Agnibina owner Nazmul Haque Bhuiyan and several personalities of the music industry.
Since Lucky Akhand is currently in Bangkok undergoing treatment for lung cancer, the award will be given to any member of his family who will receive the award on his behalf.
