Senior journalist Mostak Ahmed of Daily Bhorer Dak died at a hospital in the capital yesterday, reports UNB. He was 58. Mostak Ahmed, former president of Dhaka Reporters Unity, breathed his last 10:55 am at the National Institute of Kidney Diseases and Urology (NIKDU).
Mostak, who had been suffering from heart and kidney diseases, was admitted to the hospital on August 31. He left behind his wife, one son, one daughter and host of admirers to mourn his death. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock at the death of Mostak Ahmed.
