At least three people, including a woman and her son, were killed following a head-on collision between a CNG run auto-rickshaw and a pick-van on Noakhali-Feni road in Senbagh upazila yesterday morning.
The deceased were identified as auto-rickshaw driver Abu Taher, 35 and Feroza Begum, 60 and her son Mohon, 35.
Mosleh Uddin, sub-inspector of Senbag Police Station, said the accident took place around 9:30am as the pick-up van collided with the auto-rickshaw, leaving the trio dead on the spot and three others injured.
