Navy ship leaves for India, Sri Lanka on training tour

Bangladesh Navy (BN) ‘BNS Sumudro Joy’ yesterday left Chittagong Naval Jetty for India and Sri Lanka on a 22-day training tour, reports BSS. The ships will stay at Visakhapatnam Port of India on September 4-8 and at Colombo Port of Sri Lanka on September 12-16, said an ISPR press release. The ship is scheduled to return Bangladesh on September 21. The training is expected to boost up the image of Bangladesh before the world and further strengthen relationships of Bangladesh with India and Sri Lanka, it added.
