Ethnic minority woman raped in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM: A woman of an ethnic minority community was allegedly raped in BRAC Karnafuli Tea Garden in Shetkua area of Kanchan Nagar in the district on Friday, reports UNB. Police arrested a man, Md Azam, 40, of Kanchan Nagar on Friday night in this connection. Quoting the victim police said Azam dragged the girl into a forest of the tea state and violated her. The victim filed a case in this regard and she was sent for medical test in a local hospital, the OC added.
