Mother ‘kills self’ after killing two children

HABIGANJ: A housewife allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan of her house after killing her seven-month-old boy and two-year-old daughter at Niznagar village in Madhabpur upazila on Friday night, UNB.

The deceased were identified as Hadisa Begum, 25, wife of shopkeeper Muzibur Rahman, and their children Muzahid, seven months, and Mim, 2, of the village.

Hearing the screaming of the children, neighbours rushed there around 9 pm and found the house locked from inside.

Later, having no response from inside the house, locals informed the matter to Madhabpur Police Station.
