State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Division Zunaid Ahmed Palak said the future generation should fulfill the dreams of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman through their innovative activities as he dreamed to build the ‘Sonar Bangla’.
Now the country is marching towards a complete digitalised world under the leadership of Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina, the success successor of Bangabandhu. Here Sazib Wazed Joy, the son of our prime minister has been playing role to make the programme a success.
Palak was addressing a programme during giving reception to 84 people, including 31 local people, who got ‘Joy Bangla Youth Award’ held at Jhenidah Shilpakala Academy on Saturday.
Presided over by Jhenidah municipality mayor, also general secretary of Bangladesh Awami League Jhenidah district unit Saidul Karim Mintu, the state minister attended as chief guest. Jhenidah municipality and Kathan Sanskritik Sangsad jointly organised the reception.
Lawmaker Tahjib Alam Siddiquee Somi, deputy commissioner Saroj Kumar Nath, superintendent of police in Jhenidah Mijanur Rahman among others were present.
The chief guest said the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has chosen the young community for future progress of the country. All the 84 winners were provided ‘Desh Thik, Ami Thik’ award.
