A 2nd grader girl was violated at Gojanagar area in Nabinagar municipality on Friday, reports UNB.
Victim's mother Kulsuma Begum filed a case with Nabinagar Police Station on the day of the incident. Till yesterday, however, police had still failed to arrest the main accused, although they have detained two people for interrogation.
According to the case statement, an elderly man Obaidul Haque, 75, grocery shop owner at Khajanagar area in the municipality, lured the girl, 7, to a small room at the back of his shop promising free chocolates and violated her there.
