Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) is expected to announce the national team within a couple of days for the participation in the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018. The seven nations South Asian football tournament will kick-off September 4 at Bangabandhu National Stadium. The final will take place on September 15.
Bangladesh have been drawn in Group A with Nepal, Pakistan and Bhutan. The other three countries India, Maldives and Sri Lanka have been placed in Group-B.
Sri Lanka are expected to be arrived Bangladesh as first team in two batches on Sunday night. They will travel to Rangpur today to play a friendly match with Bangladesh national team on August 29 at 4pm at Sheikh Jamal Stadium in Nilphamari.
Bhutan and Nepal are due in Dhaka on September 2, while India and Maldives will reach here on September 3. Pakistan are yet to confirm their arrival date.
Nepal will face Pakistan in the opening match on September 4 as Bangladesh will open their campaign against Bhutan on the same day at 7pm.
